Aviation ground support equipment specialist TDH Visions (stand E675) is highlighting its new eco-friendly aircraft tug to the Middle East region.
"We have a range of aircraft tractors called The Eagle TT series," says technical sales director Dawood Khan, . "It is the only product in its weight class available with all-wheel drive, providing safe, controlled traction in all weather conditions. Its ergonomic operator compartment, low-profile design and mirror-less hitch visibility allow operators to safely and efficiently handle today's regional and corporate aircraft."
On display at its stand is the diesel TT-8 tractor. The tractors are also available in gas, and now electric.
"The ETT-12 is new to this region. It is our new 'green' tractor. It does everything the same as the gas and diesel tractors, it just means it uses no emissions, so it is eco-friendly."
The tractors can tow up to 82t and pull aircraft up to Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 size.
Khan says: "Our customers are mainly of the private and business market, many located in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia within the Middle East, but we have many customers globally. We have an office in Saudi Arabia and within the next few months we will be opening another one in Fujairah. The Middle East is a very important region for us, which is why we are here at the Dubai air show."
The UK company is also displaying a new-generation maintenance case.
"The new FCS Avionic Test Accessories Kit has a digital multimeter which covers the requirements for Boeing and Airbus. Inside the case, which is made of synthetic resin, are 68 pieces of aircraft avionic specific test and measurement equipment," says Khan.
