Canadian training and simulation provider CAE is presenting a subscription service designed to keep simulator visual databases in line with actual changes in airport layouts. Called True Airport, it is being offered to airlines and third-party training suppliers who use CAE visual systems.
The Montreal-headquartered company assures the currency of the customer’s selected databases and makes them available for download through a Web portal. The databases are compatible with CAE’s TroposTM-6000 and CAE Tropos TM II image generators. CAE supplies True Airport on an annual subscription basis, issuing automatic notifications to the customer whenever a new version of a selected airport is available for download.
