Dubai Aerospace Enterprises accepted two Cirrus SR22 aircraft at the Dubai Airshow to begin a long term purchase agreement to build a training fleet of its best-selling piston aircraft.

The SR22 Turbo is making its first appearance in the Gulf at the Dubai Airshow. “At present the Middle East is an untapped market for us and as such we look to capitalise upon the expanding general aviation opportunities in the region,” says John Bingham, director of Cirrus International Sales.

For five consecutive years the SR22 has been the world's best selling single-engined four-passenger aircraft. Volume delivery of DAE’s training fleet will commence in 2008.
