Air show preparations always need to be started well in advance of the event, and as anyone who tries to book hotel accommodation know it can be an organisational nightmare securing enough rooms. But for Farnborough 2008 there’s a slightly different option available to show goers.

The famous five-star Cliveden hotel and PremiAir are offering the facilities of the entire hotel in the Berkshire countryside, complete with a helicopter shuttle service beating the traffic. Prices start at $106,000 plus taxes for exclusive use of the facility. The hotel can accommodate up to 78 guests. Available from July 12 to 18, the journey time by air is just 15 minutes, a sure-fire way to avoid the queues.
