Jet Aviation Dubai is to offer maintenance support for the Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) series from the end of 2011 to cater for "strong customer demand in the Middle East". The Dubai maintenance team has received OEM-led training and certification and all required tools will be in place by the end of the year, said Jet Aviation.
"We are delighted to expand our maintenance offerings to Airbus customers in the region," said Michael Rücker, vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation Dubai. "The manufacturer requested we offer this service to their customers at the front end, which is a great testament to our high-quality, customer-focused service delivery."
Christof Späth, senior vice president of MRO and FBO services for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia region, added: "With an expected six to eight local Airbus ACJ operators in the region, there will be strong need for proven maintenance support."
