Dunlop Aviation will play a part in the RAH-66 Comanche scout/attack helicopter programme after winning an order to develop the aircraft's anti-iced engine intake.

The 20-year programme could be worth up to $75 million to Dunlop Aviation Ice Protection and Composites (DAIPC).

Success

"We are delighted to have been selected against strong US competition," says manager Nick Griffin, manager. "It follows our successful development of the engine intake for the Sikorsky S-92."

The company also designs and builds systems for the EH Industries EH101 and AgustaWestland Super Lynx 300.
