UK-based Dunlop Aircraft Tyres has opened a retread and distribution facility in Jinjiang, located in China's Fujian province between Hong Kong and Shanghai.
The facility will operate under the name Dunlop Taikoo (Jinjiang) Aircraft Tyres, and is a joint venture with Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering (HAECO) and Taikoo Aircraft Engineering (TAECO), says Dunlop.
HAECO owns 28% and TAECO 9% of the JV, which has received product approval from the CAAC and full repair-station approval from EASA, Dunlop adds.
