Dutch company SP Aerospace is to design the arresting gear for the Joint Strike Fighter. The Dutch government says development of the arresting gear will cost almost €2 million ($2.3 million), but turnover in the production phase could exceed €60 million. Dutch companies have already won €160 million-worth of orders for the JSF.
