Airline-led e-business marketplace Aeroxchange has launched its second generation services which, compared with version one, include improved strategic sourcing services, enhanced online negotiation tools and improved search, buy and negotiation tools for parts and services. Aeroxchange was established by 13 airlines, which have been joined by a further 19 airline customers and hundreds of suppliers. Boeing has added an airline content storage and retrieval capability to MyBoeingFleet.com. MyBoeingFleet.com provides airlines with access to Boeing technical information and services. The hosted customer content feature will provide airlines with a place to store documents and data generated by their maintenance, engineering and operations departments. The feature is available for a one-time start-up charge plus a monthly fee, based on the amount of data storage used.
