1.      Honeywell is to combine its comprehensive MyAircraft.com aviation exchange with its other e-business initiatives, MyFacilities.com and MyPlant.com, to be led by the company's president for e-business, Russ McMeekin.

2.      Airline Hardware Exchange is teaming with Mascon Information Technologies to launch ahxonline.com, an online marketplace providing an end-to-end supply chain solution for the aerospace hardware market.

3.      American Airlines has selected click2learn.com to manage its e-learning programme. The US carrier will use click2learn's Ingenium learning management system to manage the training of 80,000 employees and contractors.

4.      IBM has formed a strategic alliance with Ascent Technology, a provider of software to airlines and airports, to market Ascent's SmartAirport Operations Centre software. Under the partnership, Ascent will become part of IBM's ConnectEdge for Airlines initiative.

5.      Lufthansa Cargo has launched its eBooking system in Germany enabling forwarders to book online. The system is due to be in place in the cargo carrier's major markets by 2001 and globally by 2002.
