Travel industry technology and marketing services provider Sabre and aerospace Internet marketplace Skyfish.com are forming a B2B exchange for the travel and aerospace industries. The deal will also see Sabre take a minority stake in Skyfish.com, and combine their marketplaces to offer procurement, decision and support technology, information services and supply chain management. Boeing has added fleet reliability statistics, product standards, a loadable software information site and more maintenance documents to its MyBoeingFleet.com site. The website features 79,000 maintenance documents, flight manuals, 5.6 million engineering and tooling drawings and access to Boeing's spare parts ordering system. E-commerce travel website Et-china.com and China Southern Airlines have extended their alliance to 2004. The partnership allows China Southern to offer e-ticketing services, WAP reservations and business travel solutions for corporate customers. Robotic Vision Systems has launched its IDTrac.com internet-based aircraft-part authentication and verification service. in an effort to eliminate the use of unapproved parts. The service uses unique identification numbers and stores key information to track parts.
