EADS Casa has flown the first Lockheed MartinP-3B Orion maritime patrol aircraft to be upgraded for the Spanish air force.
The aircraft is fitted with EADS Casa's Fully Integrated Tactical System (FITS). FITS trials are due to begin this month and are expected to conclude in October. Delivery of the first aircraft to the Spanish air force is expected by the end of the year.
