Spanish manufacturer develops flying boom system as Canada considers German link for A310 MRTT order
EADS Casa is developing a flying boom in-flight refuelling system for Airbus platforms as it attempts to address a large potential market for tanker aircraft. Meanwhile, Canada may participate in a German programme to convert Airbus A310s into Multi-Role Transport Tanker (MRTT) configuration.
Canada, meanwhile, is considering an A310MRTTorder that would take advantage of the production line for German air force modifications.
