Reorganisation: EADS is creating a new Defence and Security division by merging its Defence and Civil Systems and Military Aircraft businesses. The division will have revenues of g5 billion ($5.3 billion) and employ 24,000 people in nine countries. EADS co-chief executive Philippe Camus and Rainer Hertirch say defence is a "core strategic priority" and full integration of its defence units will "move us substantially towards this goal".
