EADS Casa has rolled out the first upgraded Lockheed Martin P-3B Orion maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) for the Spanish air force. The aircraft is due to fly in June with the first redelivery to the air force scheduled for next year. An additional two aircraft are due for handover in 2004 and two the following year.
