Bell Helicopter is close to completing the manufacture of its first full-scale prototype HV-911 Eagle Eye vertical take-off and landing unmanned air vehicle, and expects to fly the system this quarter. Eagle Eye will be delivered to the US Coast Guard from 2007, while a modified variant is on offer to European militaries.
