The Reseau du Sport de l'Air (RSA) believes in recruiting its members young.

Francois Moreau, president of the youth division, of the French network of air sports, has launched a scheme to get children to design and build their own flying machines.

One hundred students in 10 schools throughout France are making 30 aircraft which are in various stages of construction. 

Several of the young participants are in Paris to promote the project and discuss their designs with show attendees.

The RSA has a membership of 2,000, consisting of recreational pilots, historical aircraft restorers and aviation enthusiasts.
