LFK-Lenkflugkorpersysteme (LFK GmbH), a subsidiary of Daimler Benz Aerospace, is presenting its Missile Launch Detection System (MILDS) at the show.

MILDS AN/AAR-60 has been selected as part of the electronic warfare system for the NH 90 helicopter by Eurocopter Deutschland and NAHEMA (the Nato Helicopter Design, Development, Production and Logistic Agency). MILDS can detect attacking missiles in real-time determining the direction of arrival and moment of impact. It is capable of automatically triggering counter measures such as flare release, infrared jamming or a manoeuvre by the aircraft.
