Budget carrier easyJet is to drop Zurich from its network, claiming the airport has become too expensive. Instead, the carrier will begin operating from the Swiss city of Basle. EasyJet has been complaining for a long time about the costs of operating out of Zurich, and dropped its London Gatwick service to the airport earlier this year.
