UK low-fare carrier EasyJet says its load factor for September remained unchanged at just over 83% while passenger numbers during the month rose 27% to 680,383 compared to last year. The upturn is boosted, however, by EasyJet's expanding European route network and its acquisition of new aircraft over the past year. EasyJet says yields were down slightly, largely due to special seat sales on new routes. The carrier's network comprises 35 routes to 16 European destinations from bases at London Luton, Geneva, Liverpool and Amsterdam.
