UK budget carrier EasyJet has finally opted to retain the services of maintenance provider SR Technics for its Airbus A319 fleet following a competitive battle to secure the long-term deal. Under a 10-year agreement valued by EasyJet at around $1 billion, SR Technics will provide total maintenance support for the A319s, except for the type’s CFM International CFM56 engines.
