Although its option on whether to buy German carrier Deutsche BA (DBA) does not expire until August, easyJet expects to make a decision in March on whether to go ahead with the purchase. EasyJet took an option to buy DBA from British Airways in May 2002 and has since been assisting the carrier's efforts to reposition itself as a low-cost operation.
