Jet Aviation will become the first global aviation services provider to open an FBO in China, which will be ready in time for the Olympic Games.

The Swiss company has teamed with Deer Air, an HNA Group subsidiary, to operate the FBO and line maintenance facility at Beijing’s Capital International Airport. The Swiss company has also signed an MoU with Malaysia’s Airod to operate a similar facility at Kuala Lumpur’s Subang airport.

Meanwhile in Europe, Jet Aviation has strengthened its presence at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport by gaining two line service authorizations for Bombardier and Gulfstream. The Swiss company’s employment arm Jet Professionals will also set up an office in Zurich offering crew services. Jet Professionals is likely to expand next into Brazil and the Middle East.
