Lufthansa Private Jet has announced an order worth more than $50 million for seven Cessna Citation business jets: two CJ1+, two CJ3 and two XLS+. LPJ may also take two more Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft from the Lufthansa fleet. These would be converted into Challenger 850 executive jets.

The Cessna fleet will be delivered by spring 2009 and forms part of Lufthansa’s service for its high-end customers. Michael Fuchs, LPJ’s product and marketing manager says: “One ticket takes care of everything. If someone wants to take a CJ3 from one of our hubs we can organise that. Or if someone misses a connection, we can ensure they get to their destination another way.”
