The newly launched Dhabi Jet fixed-base operation provider for Al Bateen airport in Abu Dhabi could become a global brand. The specialist business aviation airport's vice-president Mohammed Bulooki said the high-quality brand offering the same level of Arabic hospitality and attention to detail that has seen the Gulf carriers dominate the best airline awards could be rolled out to other airports.
Meanwhile, earlier today Al Bateen added two new MRO providers to its tenants. The first was Jet Aviation offering line maintenance and a branch office linked to its existing FBO in Dubai.
The second was India's Air Works, which is an authorised service centre for AgustaWestland, Bell Helicopter, Bombardier, Embraer, Garmin, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft, Rockwell Collins and Superjet International.
Jet Aviation is also to base its Jet Professionals aviation staffing business from Al Bateen.
"We are happy to have such globally recognised brands operating from Al Bateen," said general manager Steve Jones.
