Dassault's latest Falcon, the 900LX, is racing to third quarter certification, the manufacturer said today.

The first two customer aircraft are in completion stage, while the flight-test programme has accumulated 180 flight hours over 72 sorties.

The large-cabin 900LX trijet succeeds the Falcon 900EX EASy, and includes Aviation Partners blended winglets, which Dassault says cut drag by 5%.

Dassault will tomorrow deliver its 75th 7X at a ceremony at EBACE. The long-range flagship has been in service since 2007.
