European regulators have approved certification of new avionics features designed by Rockwell Collins for business jets, the company announces.
The mandated Change 7.1 for the traffic and collision avoidance system (TCAS) II can now be installed on the TTR-4000 and TTR-921 transmitter/receivers on more than 50 business aircraft types under new supplemental type certificates approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency.
The Beechcraft B200 and B300-series King Airs equipped with Pro Line 21 flight management system 3000 can also be upgraded with European geostationary navigation overlay service (EGNOS) approach procedures with vertical guidance under another new STC.
