Aircell has announced that Jet Aviation has received regulatory approval to install the Aviator 200 in-flight connectivity system for Dassault 2000LX business jets.

The European Aviation Safety Agency approved a new supplemental type certificate (STC) allowing Jet Aviation, a General Dynamics subsidiary, to install the Inmarsat-based SwiftBroadband service on Falcon 2000s.

Jet Aviation also will make the STC available to other service facilities for a "nominal fee", according to Aircell. Aircell sells the Aviator 200 equipment package for $60,000, excluding installation.
