Eurocopter has reinforced its commitment to the business aviation market with the unveiling at the show of the EC145 Stylence on its stand (7010). The move sees the EC145 offered in an executive configuration for the first time.
The European manufacturer says the business aviation market has grown to represent one-fifth of its annual sales, and it sold 150 business helicopters last year.
"The introduction of the EC145 Stylence at this year's EBACE shows our confidence in business aviation and its future, despite the current economic downturn," says Dominique Orbec, vice-president market development.

"It is also proof of Eurocopter's ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of our demanding customers in order to provide them with maximum satisfaction," he says.
As the latest addition to the Stylence family, the EC145 version offers a fully equipped in-flight office for business executives and corporate users, including telephone, internet and email facilities.
The EC130 was the first Eurocopter model to be offered in the Stylence configuration, in 2003, and the EC145 is the fourth to join the line-up, which also includes the EC120 and AS350 B2/B3, AS 355 NP.
