Fortunes are climbing for Daher-Socata (stand 1343). The French manufacturer took seven orders for its high-performance single-engine TBM 850 in April, compared with just six for the whole of the first quarter. A TBM 850, with the synthetic vision technology option on its Garmin G1000 glass flight deck, is taking pride of place on the Daher-Socata stand. The company says the TBM 850 is the fastest single-engine turboprop business aircraft. Since its launch in 2005, as a development of the TBM 700, the company has taken 216 orders and delivered 190.
