Garmin has scored three victories here at EBACE in its quest gain entry into an increasing number of Part 25 business jets, including its inaugural application with Bombardier.
Bombardier announced this morning that it has selected Garmin's G5000 integrated avionics suite for the Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 models, targeted for entry-into-service (EIS) in 2013. The cockpit will include three large-screen displays, with synthetic vision and touch-screen controllers.
With the unveiling of the Cessna Longitude today, Garmin marks its 10th flight deck with Cessna overall, along with earlier wins on the Latitude and Citation Ten. EIS for the integrated cockpit is slated for 2017, with features similar to the Bombardier application.
Garmin also made new inroads at Hawker Beechcraft, announcing today that it has received a supplemental type certificate for a G1000 installation on the Beechcraft King Air 300 and King Air 350. The cockpit includes three displays.
