Leading UK charter operator London Executive Aviation has called for greater levels of co-operation in the European business aviation industry.
Patrick Margetson-Rushmore, chief executive of LEA, said: "At LEA, we would love to see more cross-border integration between operators.
"Why should [our customers] care about the geographic or fleet limitations of a particular operator? We must not let parochial concerns reduce business aviation's overall performance, or hold back our collective growth."
He suggested that business aviation operators could learn useful lessons from the alliances prevalent in the commercial aviation sector.
