Honeywell maintenance service has been extended to cover the full aircraft system.

The mechanical protection plan launched today extends the company's repair and replacement programme to cover environmental control systems and cabin pressure control systems for certain Gulfstream and Pilatus models starting in the third quarter, Honeywell said.

The programme adds to maintenance services already offered by Honeywell for engines and auxiliary power units.

Adding repair and replacement for environmental controls and cabin pressure systems means "operations can select the best option for managing their maintenance budgets while reducing the complexity of their operations", said Tony Brancato, Honeywell vice-president of business and general aviation aftermarket.
