Italian manufacturer Iacobucci HF [stand 771] has unveiled a new double VIP seat at EBACE as it looks to extend its penetration in the high-end seating market.
The company says it developed the berth, which can be mechanically or electromechanically activated, following requests from potential clients to outfit airliner-derived business jets.
Equipped with a drop-down armrest, the seat converts to a 73in (185cm) fully-flat bed.
"Usually double seats are very heavy and anyone trying to make a lighter version has made compromises on comfort, but we have not," says Riccardo Palmeri Lolli, Iacobucci group marketing director.
