Cessna sales
Saudi Arabia-based Wallan Aviation, Cessna’s sales representative in the Middle East, has ordered four Citation Sovereigns, two Citation XLSs and a Citation CJ3 for delivery in 2007. Dubai-based charter operator Gulf Jet has ordered a Sovereign to arrive in June and three XLSs for delivery in 2007.

Japanese charter operator Global Wings has become the Asian launch operator for Bombardier’s Challenger 605 large business jet. Part of the Canadian manufacturer’s Skyjet International charter network, Tokyo-based Global Wings operates two Bombardier Learjet 45XRs and has a third on order.
CMC bags Falcons
Canada’s CMC Electronics is to supply its PilotView Class 2 electronic flight bag as a standard option on the Dassault Falcon 2000DX/EX and 900DX/EX. The bag is also available on Gulfstreams and the Pilatus PC-12, where it is combined with CMC’s SureSight M-Series enhanced vision sensor.
Vnukovo base
Lufthansa Technik (LHT) and Vnukovo Invest have signed a letter of intent to establish a fixed-based operation (FBO) to support Western business aircraft at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport. Vnukovo Invest will own the FBO and provide ground handling, while LHT will perform line maintenance.
GE retrofits
General Electric has launched a hot-section retrofit programme to enable operators of CF34-1A/3A/3A2 engines powering Bombardier Challenger 601s to move from a “hard-time” maintenance schedule to the on-condition plan already available to operators of the later Challenger 604 and new 605.
A319 order
Austrian charter operator JetAlliance has ordered an Airbus A319 Corporate Jet for delivery in the third quarter of next year.
