Lauda: picked Jet Support for Bombardier Global 5000
Jet Support Services is to provide Formula One racing legend Niki Lauda with its engine and auxiliary power unit maintenance and support services package on his newly delivered Bombardier Global 5000.
Lauda has enrolled the jet on Jet Support's Platinum Engine and APU Hourly Cost maintenance programmes.
"I am on the move all the time and always looking for services that can help minimise my downtime and keep me moving, so JSSI makes perfect sense to me," says Lauda. "Jet provides us with a predictable maintenance budget, and its technical services team acts as our advocate to make sure we get back in the air as quickly as possible whenever there is an engine or APU maintenance issue," adds Lauda.
As an additional layer of support for Bombardier Global clients, Jet recently acquired two Rolls-Royce BR710A2-20 turbine engines to use as loan items whenever off-wing engine repairs or overhauls are required.
