Bombardier has returned to EBACE with the first production version of the super-light Learjet 75, a year after its launch.
The nine-passenger aircraft updates the airframe of the Learjet 45XR, which it replaces, with an improved version of the Honeywell TF731 turbofan. The aircraft is also equipped with the new Vision flightdeck, based on the Garmin 5000 cockpit, and a new interior.

Certification of the Learjet 75, and its light jet stablemate the Learjet 70, is earmarked for later this year. Bombardier is counting on the aircraft to revitalise orders in the depressed sector of light business jets.
