A year after launching its Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 business jets, Bombardier is returning to the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition with the first production version of the superlight Learjet 75.
The nine-passenger aircraft updates the airframe of the Learjet 45XR - which it replaces - with an improved version of the Honeywell TF731 turbofan. The aircraft is also equipped with the new Vision flightdeck based on the Garmin 5000 cockpit and a new interior.
Certification of the Learjet 75 and its light jet stablemate, the Learjet 70, is earmarked for later this year. Bombardier is counting on the duo to revitalise orders in the depressed sector of light business jets.
Alongside the debutante at the static display at EBACE, Bombardier will also showcase its super-midsize Challenger 300, large-cabin Challenger 605 and long-range Global 6000 business jets.
EBACE runs from 21 to 23 May in Geneva, Switzerland.
