EXCELAIRE ADDITION

ExcelAire (stand 695) has added a 13-seat Gulfstream GIV-SP to its fleet, bringing its fleet of Gulfstreams to 10. The latest aircraft features berthable seats and a forward galley. In addition to Gulfstream jets, ExcelAire flies Bombardier Learjets, Cessna Citations,Embraer Legacy 600s and Hawker Beechjets,


NAYAK SERVICE

Embraer (stand 7030) has named Cologne, Germany-based Nayak Aircraft Services as an authorised service centre. Nayak is the first maintenance, repair and overhaul facility to cater for Phenom 100 and 300 business jets in Germany.


RIZON APPOINTMENT

Middle East and London Biggin Hill-based executive charter company Rizon has appointed Andrew Pearce as sales and marketing director for the UK and Europe. Pearce joins from TAG Aviation and will be based at Rizon's new London Biggin Hill facility, scheduled to open in October.


GETTING THE RIGHT BALANCE

Universal Weather and Aviation has released a weight and balance feature for its online flight planning software UVflightplanner.com, with integrated runway analysis for non-zoned aircraft. "This is an important feature as it will allow users to obtain aircraft-specific take-off and landing limit weights for specific runway and atmosphere conditions," says Randy Stephens, Universal's senior director for specialty products.
