Ruag has completed its first conversion of a Bombardier CRJ200 regional jet into a 10-seat VIP aircraft.

The project, first unveiled by the Swiss company at EBACE in 2012, involved overhauling the entire layout configuration, interior design and electronics system.

It now boasts a private VIP area, a club seating and dining area, and a lounge equipped with the latest in-flight entertainment systems.

"For Ruag Aviation, this project represents a successful launch into the European completion market, where we will be providing personalised designs and full customisation with minimal cost and downtime," says Ulrich Gehling, Ruag general manager business aviation.
