The maker of a new web package that pulls together real-time pre-trip information such as airport handling fees and service levels has signed up its highest-profile client.
Jet Aviation will test the Skynet software at its Biggin Hill fixed-base operation near London. Existing customers for the product, which was launched last month, include Austria-based Caeroscene Flight Support and UK operator Synergy Aviation.
Skynet commercial director Gareth Cadwell said the service is a "no-brainer" for flight support companies, because "it allows operations to run much more efficiently than at present, while facilitating better communications with both clients and suppliers".
