Swiss charter airline Edelweiss Air has added its first long-haul aircraft, a Rolls-Royce Trent-powered Airbus A330-200 leased from CIT Aerospace. Edelweiss, which is owned by tour operator Kuoni, will operate the twinjet alongside its fleet of three Airbus A320s. The 313-seater will be operated on flights to destinations in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico and the Maldives.
