Portable in-flight entertainment (IFE) firm e.Digital has scored its first US-based customer.
The company says it has delivered its eVU handheld devices to North American Airlines under a new 'systems and services' order issued by the carrier.
North American, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings, provides domestic and worldwide international charter flights with a fleet of Boeing 757s and Boeing 767s.
"We're pleased to have delivered our first order to a US-based air carrier," says e.Digital president and CEO Fred Falk.
The eVU portable entertainment system features a multi-language, customizable interface and 20-plus hours of continuous video playback from a single battery charge.
