Portable in-flight entertainment supplier e.Digital today announced Polish carrier LOT and Air Seychelles have selected the company's eVU protable system as their IFE solution.
e.Digital explains the orders were obtained by e.Digital reseller Mezzo, an IFE company that focuses on deploying complete and outsourced portable IFE solutions. Rolls-Royce-backed Mezzo offers local IFE services including equipment maintenance, repairs and content.
The eVU features more than 20 hours of continuous video playback from a single battery charge, says e.Digital. Recent product enhancements include a touch screen option for the high-resolution seven and eight-inch screens and 200GB of Hollywood-approved encrypted storage for movies, television shows, music and specialty programming and games.
