EDS (Hall 2, B16) has launched an upgraded version of the web-enabled aerospace and defence software facility Teamcentre Aerospace. The software enables product development over the internet, greatly reducing the cost of producing designs.
Teamcentre now boast many enhancements including a new web browser interface that allows easier access for supporting integrated product development environments. The facility includes Teamcentre Community, enabling team members access to team calendars, contacts lists, instant messaging and online conference services.
Designs can be viewed, sectioned, measured and marked up in a web browser using industry-standard .JT technology. Design team members can modify product designs in a collaborative session using Teamcentre Community.
