Egypt's National Civil Aviation Training Organisation has ordered a second Hawk multirole flight training device from Aviation Simulation Technology (AST). With a six-window visual and two-tube electronic flight instrument system, the device can replicate five aircraft types, including the Beech King Air 200 and Piper Seminole and Warrior. Meanwhile, Lenexa, Kansas-based AST has launched its New Digital AST 300, which can be a single-engined, twin-engined or multifunction training device.
