The Israeli ministry of defence has awarded Elbit Systems a $200 million contract for the development of the 10-year Digital Army Programme (DAP). The DAP will enhance the capability of Israeli land forces to use aerial sensors carried by aircraft, unmanned air vehicles and satellites. Rafael and Tadiran Systems will be major subcontractors.
