Centrepiece of Pratt & Whitney's outdoor display is the Lockheed Electra 10E used by American Linda Finch in her recent around-the-world flight in honour of Amelia Earhart's fatal journey 60 years ago.

Finch's aircraft is powered by two restored P&W R-1340 Wasp engines. P&W was a sponsor of Finch's tour, which was completed successfully on 28 May after 34 stops in 18 countries, beginning and ending in Oakland, California.

Finch herself will be at the show today (Sunday), and is expected to hold a press conference.
