A Shuttle America-operated United Express Embraer 170 landed with its nose gear retracted at Washington DC’s Dulles airport on 30 May. Flight 7512 touched down on runway 19L at the end of a scheduled service from Houston to Dulles after the crew declared an emergency. The four crew and 56 passengers evacuated using the aircraft’s rear chutes.
