Continental Express has placed 25 firm orders for the EMB-145 regional jet to launch the aircraft in North America. It also placed options on 175 more of the 50-seat aircraft. It will receive four aircraft in December, 16 next year and six more in 1998. With the options the total deal value would reach $650 million.
